When we later had dinner she sang the songs and smiled happily. Dear Mr. Sharma, thank you for enlightening my little daughter’s life to such an extent! You gave her an additional friend – imaginative Bhoothnath.

Before my daughter went to bed I told her I was going to write to you and asked whether she’d like to ask you anything. Well, she is curious to know whether you have any children or pets.

We now wish you a good night.

Dear Mr. Sharma,
In mid July I saw a movie made in Bollywood for the first time. Since then the magic of the Mumbai film industry captured me with its colourful pictures and happy music. About two weeks ago I rented the movie Bhoothnath dubbed in German for my 6 year old daughter. The beginning scared her a little so we moved on to the next seen. Then she absolutely loved it. By now she watched the complete movie at least three times and never stops talking about Banku and Bhoothnath. The soundtrack had to be bought. Meanwhile she sings along to the songs even though neither of us have any knowledge of Hindi or any other Indian language. Even though my daughter loves music she never danced to it. In my opinion it is a terrible shame. BUT tonight she grinned at me and said she was going to her room to dance to Bhoothnath music. My heart jumped high up in the air.

Saada ji kahna hai ki aise logo ka industry mein aana jaroori hai jo film ko large canvas / Prespective mein bana sake . Very true buti will say it will be difficult to change the mind set of Producers . Kisi ka Dil / thinking aap badal nahi sakte aur jaha money bbech mein ho creativity ( saraswati ) door rahti hai . I also see a more no of youngsters who will join industry in future but they have again bow down towards the needs of Producers . If we want to really change then it can only happen when Director himself will Produce the film for which he can take help of Financial Institutions / bank through a company like Mukta Arts .

It is sure that getting encouragement from people like you number of good filmmaker will definately increase .

My son Dhruv who is now 15 will definately follow this path in another six - sewven years . i am too eagerly waiting for the day

Songs are like scenes... has to be part of screenplay..situation suggests automatically...

lyrics are really important as they speak frame of mind of the characters...

V well written piece as usual. Loved it. Would like to know how you go about deciding / composing songs for a film. As in do you randomly think of adding songs or is ther any thought process

larger than life....everything is becoming small.,muze yad hai, 2ki 5 me ticket lete the, aaj multiplex me show cancell ho rahe hai, darshak ki kami ki vajah se. har koi fast film ,remake .new ideas ki kami ho gayee hai, ya koi sochana nahi chahat hai, agar idea and creation perfect ho to jab banega bigger than big.....sholey ek hi bar banti hai, mugale azam ek hi bar banti hai,guide ek hi bar banti hai, bhutnath ek hi bar banti hai, agar har film sholey ban ne lag gayee to history nahi banegi..aur han...history kaun banayega..koi nahi janata,..ye na tere hath me hai na mere hath me ....nahito mera nam joker ki history nahi banti..aur bobby eetihash nahi rachti..aalam aara se lekar dil hadipa,
k.l.saigal se kishor kumar,
open air theater se multiplex.
ye safar yunhi chalta rahega,
aur kuchh bigger tha big ban jayegi,

Phale test match , phir one day aur ab 20-20 .Jis bhi field mein public interest jyada hota hai , kuch jyada akalmand log naya kojhane ke naam par purane ka format change kar dete hai without thinking ki aisa karne se basic factor ( uski atma ki maut ho ja ti hai ) God bachaye aise khoj karne walo se .
Cinema is infact a Big screen drama and watching it on Comuter screen /mobile screen does not serve the purpose of Real entertainment . Watching on small computer screen One can just say " i have seen the movie " but he can't say i have enjoyed the movie .Again I will say , some inventors throw their vague ideas in the society and people knowingly / unknowingly watch / face it .

sir u very true ,but cant help it technology has good and bad part,
i hope we will not soon watch a film on internet release and aud will wath it on there hand mobile handset.

Very true.. Television,internet,the reviews that come the very next day of the release and also piracy,everything is adding up in killing the curiosity amongst people for films.. also the no. of films being made is a lot.. its become quantitative,so quality is suffering..
We need creative people to bring 'the larger than life cinema back'..Directors who love cinema and are passionate about it and producers who support them..We have some but we need more
Keep writing please.. it might change the perspective of people towards cinema
