Director's Diary By Vivek Sharma - Part 15

Any film or any big film is about to release and reports start coming in full speed. And trust me it’s always mix… bad and very bad...

Later when film actually hits the screen reports change its tone from “ok to average...”

And if the film is actually a big box office success, reports would still come in the form of “good” and “above average”

Now the reaction from non-film people is completely different. They will like it or they will not like it.

Black or white.

They are never divided or confused.

They are clear… Their report is never “mix”

It’s so difficult to make a film… As I film maker I have witnessed the journey and I can’t explain what it takes to make a film… especially Hindi film.

It’s like layers of people you have to convince before starting the film, then while making the film then while releasing the film.

And when you hear reports are “mix” then it’s a strange feeling… :)

Luv Aaj Kal & Kaminey both could be declared as Hit in terms of Revenue but from view of a real movie lover these films have not made . these films have lost the basic for whatever reason . Both do not entertain in real sense . Bahut Bharri hai jab aap Hall se bahar tikalte hai .Minute me aap Mumbai mein hai minute mein USA ( LUV AAJ KAL) Character career ko important dhika rahe hai aur doosari taraf whole day busy hai SMS karne me / ya phone karne mey. Kitna ajeeb hai ki ladki shaadi ke theek ek din baad bol rahi hai ki mere se galti ho gayi shaadi karne me kya ye Indian culture hai mere khyal se Foreign me bhi itni jaldi alag nahi hote .

Kaminey mey bahut jyaada characters bhar diye gaye hai . Song ek aacha hai but pictuerisation bahut gadbad . Bahut dark hai scene.Violence bahut jyada hai script ki demand se .

Kaise in filmo ko Cinema ki nazar se Jaayaz kaha jaye Kya is liye ki Director ki bahut mehanat lagi hai ya producer ka paisa laga hai .
