OyeG Review
Striker is about a young man Surya living in the Malwani area of Mumbai city in the 80s. He doesn’t have a job, and tries his luck to go to Dubai. But he is cheated by the racket of burglars who are controlled by the don Jaleel.
Being a national level champion in carom, Surya gets into the betting of carom and earns the lost money. But as the story moves on, Surya fails to avoid the betting of carom becoming as a habit and gets into danger with the police and the don.
Surya goes through many phases, he loses his love, his family and his dear friend, but he overcomes everything to prove his worth and his mettle.
Direction/Story 
The story has some loopholes, which breaks the continuity. Director Chandan Arora attempted well to present the Mumbai of the 80s, but at certain junctions you may feel exaggerated.
Music
The music of the movie has been given by seven different music composers, which equally has a good variety and composition. ‘Bombay Bombay,’ which is sung by Siddharth himself and a few other tracks, are good.
Performances 
Every star has performed their best. Siddharth is fantastic, so is Anupam Kher and Aditya Panscholi, who has returned to the silver screen after a very longtime. Ankur Vikal has given an impressive performance as ‘Zaid.’ Padmapriya has also impressed in her first Bollywood movie.
OyeG Verdict
Go watch it if you have enough of free time, the star cast will not disappoint you. Only thing the movie lacks is a fast paced, well woven story.
