'Rakhi ka Swayamvar' is a bore!

Rakhi Sawant is about to get married on the reality show, Rakhi ka Swayamwar. However, the very first episode has caused a divorce between the show and its viewers.
The show started off with the host, Ram Kapoor giving an introduction of Rakhi Sawant like she has achieved some great milestones in her career. Then followed a ‘candid’ chat with Rakhi, in which she said that whatever she has done so far has been genuine and this show was not a publicity stunt (Yeah, right!).
All the contestants then introduce themselves to Rakhi Sawant and give her some gift or the other to have a good first impression. A party follows in which the contestants get to ‘know’ Rakhi better as if they do not know much about her from TV.
The contestants are found speaking on camera like in the MTV serial Roadies, which is a big bore. The set is decorated well and is given a grand look. There is too much of Om Shanti Om music running in the background. The cheap games played by the contestants, in the very first episode are an indication of what is to come in the future.
Ram overacts and Rakhi is not at all real (natural) even in a reality show. Most of the contestants seem fake as they express their feelings towards Rakhi.
Rakhi ka Swayamvar is a big torture. Please do not attend the ‘functions’ before her marriage. Believe me; you won’t celebrate if you decide to do so. And don't be surprised if Rakhi remains single even after this Swayamvar because you never know what will happen in this ‘reality’ show!
