Sonal Sehgal, who has shot for her film Aashaiyen, will now be seen opposite Himesh Reshammiya in an upcoming film. Nagesh Kukunoor's Aaashaiyen, with John Abraham in lead, is stuck. So now, Sonal Sehgal is moving on to Ishq Unplugged with Himesh Reshammiya.

The small-screen actress has been roped in to star opposite the composer-singer-actor. Ishq Unplugged will be the Bollywood directorial debut of Swapna Waghmare Joshi who has earlier directed scores of television serials.

Sonal featured in shows like Saara Akash, Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Hotel Kingston. She is married to musician Naresh Kamath (of the Naresh-Paresh duo), who also have a band Kailasa with Kailash Kher.

Ishq Unplugged was announced in October last year.
