We all know that apart from being a talented actor, John Abraham is activedly invoved in social work. Apparently, the actor spaced out time from his busy schedule and had a dinner with former US President, Jimmy Carter for the Habitat for Humanity.
John's best friend- Ashish Nangia gave out more details. He said, "In 2006, when the Habitat for Humanity was held in India in Lonavla, I introduced John to this charity. In 2006, he became the Indian ambassador and he got so involved that he was made the Global Hero in 2009."
John along with Ashish flew to Chiang Mai in Thailand on Sunday night to attend the annual Jimmy Carter Work Project which addresses the cause of poverty housing. Held this year at the Mekong Build, the event was graced by former US President Jimmy Carter and his wife, Rosalynn, who is behind this charitable cause.
